Nutritional Therapy is a ‘Food as Medicine’ approach, that utilises evidence-backed interventions of nutrition and dietary habits to support clients to optimise their nutritional intake, and to achieve their health goals.
As a Nutritional Therapist, I view the individual as a whole, taking into account health across all bodily systems, along with nutritional inputs, eating habits, digestive function, environmental factors and lifestyle. From this holistic perspective, I create a bespoke Nutrition and Wellness Plan for the individual.
My aim is to guide clients towards vibrant health through achievable dietary changes, digestive support, and appropriate high-quality supplements.
I work with leading functional testing laboratories, offering a range of tests to explore gut health, vitamin and mineral status, immune function, hormonal health and genomics. Testing can identify barriers to optimal wellness and can therefore inform a more precise nutrition strategy.
As a qualified Nutritional Therapist and a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, I am passionate about guiding others toward better health through the power of nutrition.
My journey began with a simple but profound question: "How can I give my children the best start in life?" This curiosity led me to explore every step of their nourishment, from breastfeeding to introducing solid foods, with questions like, "What truly defines a balanced, healthy diet?" and "Which supplements will best support their growing bodies?" My desire to learn intensified when my daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition which makes her skin fragile and slow to heal. Through careful dietary choices and targeted supplements, I aim to give her the nutrients she needs to support collagen production, wound healing, and overall health. Today, she’s a happy, thriving child, and her journey continues to inspire my work.
My passion for nutrition extends beyond my family; I have always been captivated by the transformative impact of even small, positive changes. By incorporating the gains from these changes—whether it's enhanced energy levels, improved digestion, or simply feeling better day-to-day—I believe we can steadily build a foundation for lasting health. My mission is to help my clients, my family, and myself to continuously accumulate these health gains, always moving toward a balanced, vibrant life.
